Our 4yo has drum lessons with Peter and we find him to be really fantastic. He is super patient in his teaching style and knows how to keep the lessons fun and engaging- so important for little kids starting to learn an instrument!! He has a good read on what the student is picking up/ what needs further work and is able to adjust to their pace. Peter is helping our little guy with beginning to understand music concepts as well as getting a hands-on feel for actually playing the drums. Thanks, Peter!

His patience and understanding plus the fact he can get a 6 yr old to stay focused for half an hour is no mean feat. Peter’s Private Drum Lessons Sydney take pride in their work and students. Lessons can be arranged in either group sessions or one on one tuition. Each student will receive professional training and mentoring starting from the basics to advanced. Anyone that tried even once to sit behind a drum kit will say that drumming is lots of fun. These days of modern and stressful living an hour of drumming can be a great way to let off some steam. Besides lowering both blood pressure and stress hormones, drumming can increase alpha wave activity in the brain that can calm the mind and even achieve a meditative state. Some studies have shown that drummers have increased endorphins – the hormones that cause feelings of happiness and euphoria. Why don’t you give a try and kick some drums! Under the term FLEXIBLE here at Peter’s Private Drum Lessons there is no limitation in the style of music that you want to learn, anything from Contemporary, Rock, Funk, Fusion, Jazz, Blues, Latin, Pop, Balkan and Gypsy Balkan percussion styles of music.
