My son started lessons with Peter at the beginning of the year. My son has additional needs and struggles with his motor skills. Peter has been wonderful with him. Very attentive to how he needs to be taught and at what pace to go with him. He is extremely patient and encouraging. We have learnt so much about both the theory and practical side of the drums. My son is developing not only his skills on the drums but with his confidence, knowledge of music and his focus. Peters' knowledge and experience make him such a great teacher and he really enjoys sharing it with his students and the parents. It's also quite a treat to hear him play himself. I absolutely highly recommend him as a teacher for anyone wanting to learn the drums.

August 21, 2023Hands down the best drum teacher I've had. Every aspect of my reading/playing has massively improved in next to no time. He will challenge and push you to get better but everything is tailored to your personal playing style so it feels more like fun than hard work. Studio set up is top notch, you'll learn on real drums and the rates are super affordable. Peter himself is a great guy, I'm probably one of the oldest students there lol but he works well with any age group, a lot of the younger students have gone on to do some pretty amazing stuff and make it a career. Peter’s Private Drum Lessons Sydney take pride in their work and students. Lessons can be arranged in either group sessions or one on one tuition. Each student will receive professional training and mentoring starting from the basics to advanced. Anyone that tried even once to sit behind a drum kit will say that drumming is lots of fun. These days of modern and stressful living an hour of drumming can be a great way to let off some steam. Besides lowering both blood pressure and stress hormones, drumming can increase alpha wave activity in the brain that can calm the mind and even achieve a meditative state. Some studies have shown that drummers have increased endorphins – the hormones that cause feelings of happiness and euphoria. Why don’t you give a try and kick some drums! Under the term FLEXIBLE here at Peter’s Private Drum Lessons there is no limitation in the style of music that you want to learn, anything from Contemporary, Rock, Funk, Fusion, Jazz, Blues, Latin, Pop, Balkan and Gypsy Balkan percussion styles of music.
